Today’s recipe The Shahi chicken kofta, you can assume from the name of this recipe that this kofta is delicious with full of flavors, which you can cook for your special person on any special occasion. Chicken is a common ingredient in many recipes, and it’s high in protein, low fat (itself), and tastes great. Okay! let’s start Shahi chicken kofta.

  • Minced chicken – 200gm
  • Potato(boiled) – 1pcs
  • Egg – 2pcs
  • Onion(chopped) – 2pcs
  • Chilli pest – 3 to 4
  • Garlic pest – 1 tsp
  • Fennel Seeds/mouri/ pest – 2 tsp
  • Kaju(crushed) – 1 tbsp
  • Raisins – 12 to 15
  • Sha Morich(crushed) – 1 tsp
  • Garam Masala powder – 1 tsp
  • Chat Masala pd – 1 tsp
  • Coriander Seeds powder – 1 tsp
  • Red Chilli pd – 1 tsp
  • 2 tbsp Corn Flower
  • Bread Crumbs – 2 cup
  • Sugar (to taste)
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Refine Oil

TIME REQUIRED : Less than 35 minutes



Heat some oil in a pan, now fry Kaju till color comes light brown, remove it from pan and keep aside.


Add Onion in the same pan fry till become soft, when the onion becomes soft then add garlic and saute for few mins.


When they start smelling aroma, add one by one green chili pest, fennel seed pest, coriander powder, red chili powder, sha morich, and Mix well and stir for a few mins.


Next, add chicken and mix well with the masala. Sprinkle some sugar, salt, and garam masala, and mix all together. Now, cook until chicken becomes soft, and take the mixture out in a bowl then wait for it to cool down.


After cooling in the mixture adds mashed potato, Kaju & raisins, and mix them very well. By adding cornflour we can control the moist of the mixture.


In your hand rub some oil, then take the mixture and make them into a kofta shape or whatever the shape you like.


Now, take a bowl and bit the only egg white portion with some salt, then Dip each kofta into the egg batter and coat with the bread crumb. Keep aside for setting or you can take this kofta into the fridge for a few mins.


Heat sufficient oil in a deep pan, then Fried each and every kofta on medium flame until kofta color comes golden-brown. and you are done! Tell me friend is it tough?

Now your chicken kofta is ready to serve, and you can also enjoy this recipe by sprinkle some chat masala and along with ketchup and salad.
