Mixed Dal Soya Pakora


Today I experiment with soya chunks and I loved it very much. Everyone knows Pakoras are tasty fried snack which is very famous in India. You can enjoy it in the evening with a cup of tea. Normally it can be vegetable pakora, or you can add different ingredients like chicken, fish, paneer, kheema, etc. But this pakora is bit different and more healthy, used only soya and dal. I think the recipe name should be Mixed dal soya pakora. Let me know how it is..

  • 1 cup Soya Means/ Granule (boil)
  • 2 cup Masoor dal paste
  • 1 Onion (large in size) chopped
  • 5 to 6 Green chilies chopped
  • ½ tsp Turmeric
  • ½ tsp Oregano
  • 1 tsp Red chills pd
  • ½ tsp Ginger paste
  • ½ tsp Garlic paste
  • 1 tsp Chat Masala
  • 2 tsp Lemon Juice
  • ½ tsp Turmeric pd
  • Salt
  • Mustard Oil

TIME REQUIRED : Less than 30 minutes



Take masoor dal paste in a bowl then add soya granules, onion, green chilies, ginger paste, garlic paste, turmeric, oregano and salt. Now mix them very well.


Add some rice pd and lemon juice into mixture to make a smooth batter.


Take a pan and heat sufficient oil. When the oil become medium hot, drop spoon fulls of the batter in the oil and fry until golden crisp.


Drain the pakoras on a absorbent paper to remove excess oil.

Sprinkle the chat masala on Mixed Dal Soya Pakora and serve hot with ketchup.
