Veg Manchurian Fried Rice


I always experiment with different ways to create simple and easy recipe. My today’s recipe is Veg Manchurian Fried Rice . This is a full flavored meal and it’s not so spicy but it’s so tasty. Friends! It’s not that complicated which you are thinking. Trust me! it’s very simple and easy to cook.

  • 4 to 5 cup boiled Rice
  • 2 medium size Onion cut into thin long strips
  • 1 medium size Capsicum cut into thin long strips
  • 6 to 8 chopped green Challis
  • ¼ cup shredded Cabbage (Badha Gobi)
  • ½ cup grated Carrot (Gajor)
  • ¼ cup finely chopped green Capsicum
  • ½ cup finely chopped Onion
  • 2 tsp red Chili sauce
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Vinegar
  • 2 tbsp Cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp all purpose flour (maida)
  • Crushed Black Pepper to taste (Gol Morich)
  • Salt to taste
  • Sugar to taste
  • Refine Oil

TIME REQUIRED : Less than 40 minutes



To prepare Manchurian balls – combine finely chopped Cabbage, Capsicum, grated Carrot, 1 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tsp vinegar, crushed pepper, salt, maida, cornstarch and 1 tbsp red chili sauce in a bowl and mix. If you feel mixture is too dry, add a little water and knead well. Then divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into balls.


Heat sufficient Oil in a pan and deep-fry the each ball on low heat till golden brown. Drain on an tissue paper.


To prepare Manchurian rice – Heat some oil in a pan add green Chilies, Onion, Capsicum and sauté for a minute.


Add soy sauce, red chili sauce, vinegar and crushed black pepper and mix. Now, add fried Manchurian balls and ½ cup warm water, mix and cook for a minute. Lastly add salt, sugar and mix.


Our Veg Manchurian Fried Rice is almost ready! Add cooked rice and spread evenly on top of prepared Manchurian balls mixture and cook for a minute. Mix well. This entire meal is ready to serve.
