Peas Kofta Curry is a recipe which is full on with the goodness of peas. One which is light and tasty. This vegetarian kofta curry dish is a quick and easy to cook which made with the green peas and potatoes. The gravy made with cashew nuts and cream and it’s so delicious. You would love eating it even if you don’t feel hungry. Whenever you have a special occasion at your place make this Peas Kofta Curry and surely everybody will find it tasty. A tasty alternative for those who love kofta but are vegetarian, yummy treats are fully bursting with flavors and the green color comes out from the healthy peas that makes them wonderful.
- 1 cup boil Green Peas
- 1 boil Potato
- 1 large Onion (chopped)
- 2 to 3 Green Chilli (chopped)
- 2 tsp Kaju pest
- 2 tbsp Cream
- 1 tsp Charmagaz pest
- 1 tsp Cumin seed pd (roasted)
- ½ tsp dry Chilli pd (roasted)
- One pinch of Black Seeds
- Sugar (to taste)
- Salt (to taste)
- 1 tsp Butter
- Refined oil
TIME REQUIRED : Less than 30 minutes
Take a pan and hit little bit of oil. Then add black seeds, onion and green chilli and fry for few sec, when the onion colors come nice golden.
Now! add boil peas, cumin seeds pd, dry chilli roasted pd, little salt and sugar. Mix it properly and Cook 2 to 3 sec.
Take out the mixture in a bowl and wait for cooling. After cooling the mixture add boil potato and mashed them very well.
Now wash and dry your hands and rub them with little oil. Make them into a round shape and flatten them.
Now! heat some oil in a deep pan. Fry the kofta in hot oil. Wait till each one turns golden-brown in color. Separate the kofta from the frying pan into a plate.
Add some butter in pan and add pinch of black seeds, kaju, Charmagaz pest and then mix it properly. Now, add little bit of warm water, sugar and salt.
Now your dish is about to ready, you just need to add the curry into your kofta’s. Now serve hot with Paratha or nun. ☺
