Carrotkand is a nice sweet dish and you can prepare very quickly, and by the dessert name “CarrotKand” you can understand the carrot is the main ingredient of this recipe. Today I’m sharing with you a nice dessert Carrotkand. I know that everyone will love it. I told you the benefits of the Carrot in my previous recipe Carrot Pan Cake. Chewing a carrot directly after food destroys all the harmful germs in our mouth, and if you are really interested to know a bit more then please check the link as mentioned.

  • Carrot (Grated) – ½ cup
  • Chhena (an Indian cottage cheese) or farmer’s Cheese – 2 cups
  • Sugar – 1 cup
  • Mawa – 1 cup
  • Cardamom Powder – ½ tsp
  • Ghee – ½ tsp
  • Kaju (chopped) – 2 tbsp

TIME REQUIRED : Less than 15 minutes



In a bowl mash, the chhena very well, and heat ghee in a pan and fry the Kaju till light brown.


Cook the chhena in a thick bottom pan on medium flame, after that constant stir till the chhena becomes thick and starts leaving the sides of the pan.


Okay! now add carrot, sugar, mawa, and cook until no fluid is left, but wet consistency is the mixture.


Turn off your gas, and add the Kaju, cardamom, and transfer to mold or serving dish and leave to set.


Cool it and cut it in any form you want, and here I ‘m giving it the form of tangles.

Now your CarrotKand is ready to serve.
