Roll is one of the famous street foods in India, and there are so many varieties of rolls that are different from each other. My today’s recipe is Baby Kima Roll, which is a modified dish from the regular roll and it’s very tasty and easy to prepare.
- Chicken Kima – 200 gm
- Egg – 3pcs
- Flour/maida – 4 cup
- Kaju/Cashew(chopped) – 1 tbsp
- Onions(chopped) – 2pcs
- Green Chillis (chopped) – 5 to 6
- Tomato(chopped) – 1pcs
- Black pepper powder – 1 tsp
- Ginger paste – 1½ tsp
- Garlic paste – 1½ tsp
- Lemon Juice – 1 tbsp
- Butter – 2 tbsp
- Salt (to taste)
- Sugar (to taste)
- Refined Oil
TIME REQUIRED : 45 minutes
Take a bowl and make a soft dough with flour, oil, salt & water. Keep aside for some time.
Heat some butter in a pan and fry the Kaju till brown, after that remove from pan and keep aside.
Add onion, fry till soft then add ginger paste, garlic paste, green chili saute for few mins. Next, add tomato and saute until become soft. Then add a little bit of water.
When the gravy becomes thick add chicken Kima, salt, pepper, Kaju, and mix it very well and cook till chicken Kima is done. You can add lemon juice as per taste, after that remove from pan and keep it to cool.
Friends! Our stuffing is ready, now take the dough and divide it some equal pieces and make them little paratha/roti and fry them in a pan then keep them aside.
For, egg batter we need to beat the egg with a pinch of salt.
Now, Add the mixture (Kima) on top of the paratha and make rolls.
Heat some oil in a pan, dip the roll into the egg batter and dip fry until the color comes golden.
Now your Baby Kima Roll is ready to serve hot with salad.
