Chicken Do Pyaza is a common Indian dish and it’s so spicy and one of the most mouth-watering dishes. Chicken Do Pyaza is literally made from chicken and adds two kinds of onions to the chicken curry. This curry has a sweet onion flavor because twice the number of onions used in it and the tastes so yum, try this dish and enjoy the Chicken Do Pyaza with Rotis or Naan.
- 250gm Chicken breast (cubed)
- 1 big Onion (paste)
- 3 big Onion (dice cut)
- 1 big Tomato puree
- 2 tsp Green chilies paste
- 3 tsp Ginger and Garlic Paste
- 1 tsp Dhaniya (Coriander powder)
- ½ tsp Jira (Cumin Powder)
- 2 tsp Garam Masala (roasted powder)
- 100 gm Natural Yogurt
- 1 Bay Leave
TIME REQUIRED : Less than 40 minutes
Marinate the chicken with 1½ tsp Ginger, Garlic paste and 2 tsp Green Chilies paste for 2 hours in the refrigerator.
Using those ingredients for Garam Masala rost in a grinder (2 Cloves, 1 tsp Cumin seeds, 2 Cardamom, 1 tsp coriander seeds, 6 to 8 Black Pepper, 1 inch Cinnamon stick and ½ tsp Final seeds)
In a saucepan heat some oil and fry the bay leaves and onion until golden brown. Now, add the paste for garlic and ginger, and tomato puree, and sauté for several minutes.
Now we need to add the chicken in the saucepan, and then take a few minutes to sauté.
Add Chili powder, Dhaniya powder, Jira powder, sugar, and salt. Cook the entire thing, until the oil is separated.
Apply the onions cut into dice and sauté for a few minutes. Add yogurt now, and stir well for several seconds.
Finally, add Garam Masala and Cover the pan until the chicken is cooked and the gravy to get thick. ‘Chicken Do Pyaza’ is now ready for service.
